Australian home recovery, made tangible.Talk to our team

Our story / Tasmania

Built from the need to recover at home.

Arctic Fire Recovery was born from the shared vision of co-owners Nathan and Felicity — a way to make recovery more accessible, convenient, and achievable for people living full lives.

The beginning

It began with a question: how do you keep recovery close when life is already full?

Four years ago, a martial-arts training camp in Thailand introduced Nathan and Felicity to the benefits of dedicated hot and cold therapy. The experience shaped Nathan’s competition preparation and gave both of them a different sense of what a consistent recovery practice could feel like.

Back in Hobart, recreating that rhythm meant confronting the practical realities of time, cost, travel, and parenthood. The answer was not another appointment. It was a place of their own.

A shared understanding

Health is not a luxury. It is a practice that has to work in real life.

Nathan is a seasoned builder with a lifelong passion for football and ten years of combat-sports experience, including professional boxing. He understands the importance of arriving in good physical and mental condition.

Felicity brings a background in dance and gymnastics, twelve years as a personal trainer, and experience running fitness retreats and businesses globally. Her ongoing studies and work in nursing and paramedicine have further deepened her understanding of health and wellbeing.

01

Lives in motion

As parents, business owners, and driven individuals, Nathan and Felicity know the demands of a busy, active life.

02

Thailand / four years ago

A martial arts training camp introduced them to a dedicated recovery centre and the tangible ritual of hot and cold therapy.

03

Back in Hobart

Finding the same rhythm outside a facility proved inconvenient and costly — particularly while raising a family.

04

A place of their own

They created a home recovery space with a sauna, cold plunge, and everyday tools. Arctic Fire Recovery began there.
